The host only ever includes mips/common/util, never the rest of common, and the support export needs that same directory. Once src/mips is a gitlink, filter-support's walk into it finds nothing and support would lose the files with nothing erroring, so they live here instead and the filter takes them from their new home. Eight host sites and the two util sources that reference each other move from mips/common/util to mips-common/util. The generator's two hardcoded paths follow. .gitignore picks up the object rules the MIPS tree's own ignore file used to cover.
