Only assetIndex differs from the last accepted version JSON. The new index
changes 142 minecraft/lang files and adds or removes nothing.

Mojang republished the 26.3 version JSON again. The live copy (5df1795e)
points at asset index 34 917ff6d7; neither was in research-lock.json, so
`horizon-prepare --prepare` from a fresh official-launcher install stops
with "is not a 26.3 version file Horizon knows", and the sounds step warns
about an unknown asset index. Jars, libraries and javaVersion are
unchanged; the index differs from 0c8f43b2 only in 142 minecraft/lang/*
objects and pack.mcmeta (uz_uz moved in the language list).

Mojang republished the 26.3 version JSON again (sha1 61fff131), with a new
asset index 34 (0c8f43b2) that changes only 142 translation files. A launcher
keeps one indexes/34.json, so every install made since then, official
launcher or Prism, failed the "pinned asset index" check: no sounds and no
title panorama.
- research-lock.json: accept the new version JSON, and list the asset
indexes of every accepted version JSON (accepted_asset_index_sha1).
- horizon-prepare: an index the lock does not know is still used, with a
line in the log, since every object copied from it is checked against its
own SHA-1; the sounds now require minecraft/sounds.json in the index.
- tools/lab.py: the same for the dev tools.

lab.prepare imported every client library in the version JSON, ignoring
its OS rules, so a Linux install failed on the macOS-only
java-objc-bridge the official launcher never downloads there. The rule
evaluation moves from runtime.py into lab.py and one selector,
client_library_artifacts, now serves preparation, the runtime and the
model baking harness: OS rules as the launcher applies them, and the
natives for this architecture (classifier suffixes, plain natives being
the x64 build only when an ARM variant is listed). Required libraries
are still checksummed and a missing one still errors.
Mojang republished 26.3.json twice (702fe591, then 11f1aefe, the current
one) with only assetIndex changed: non-English translations, same jars
and libraries. The lock pins the current file and accepts both earlier
ones; preparation takes the launcher's copy so it matches the asset
index installed with it, and an unknown republish errors clearly.

Old server jars run on Mojang's own Java runtimes, pinned in
research-lock.json and installed beside the shared vanilla data.

Horizon no longer fetches anything of Minecraft from Mojang's servers. The
client jar, version JSON, libraries and assets come from the user's official
launcher install, and the server jar is one they downloaded themselves
(--server-jar or HORIZON_SERVER_JAR). Every file is checked against checksums
pinned in research-lock.json, and the prepared .local/ layout is byte-identical
to the old downloads, so the harnesses and the native client are unchanged.
CI keeps the offline checks on GitHub's runners; the vanilla comparisons and
the mod build need the game, so they move to a manual job on a self-hosted
runner that holds the maintainer's own copy.

tools/rea_vanilla.py runs REA's JADX provider over the pinned client and
server JARs: class search, class members, method bodies and callers
(including lambdas). REA and the JADX engine are pinned in
research-lock.json.
