To resolve the "Credentials validation failed with status code 404" error when trying to add a model to OpenRouter in the cloud.dify.ai application, you should add the 'qwen/' prefix before the model name in the model name text field. For example, instead of using 'Qwen2.5-32B', use 'qwen/Qwen2.5-32B' [1].
