Fix: Claude 4.0/4.1 Opus models don't support cross-region inference

Problem

Users reported errors when selecting Claude 4.0 or 4.1 Opus models:

ValidationException: The provided model identifier is invalid.

Root cause: Claude 4.0/4.1 Opus models don't support cross-region inference (no global. prefix support). They only work with regional prefixes like us.anthropic.claude-opus-4-1-20250805-v1:0.

Solution

  • Updated supports_global logic to only include Claude 4.0 Sonnet and 4.5 Sonnet
  • Removed Claude 4 Opus from global prefix support list
  • Also fixed: added region prefix for all models when cross-region is disabled to ensure consistency
