Originally created by @backrunner on GitHub (Feb 17, 2025).

I deployed a Dify instance on a VPS in Germany and access to the SiliconFlow endpoints was very slow and painful (frequent timeouts).
SiliconFlow provides an endpoint (https://api-st.siliconflow.cn) for overseas call, and also a new global endpoint (https://api.siliconflow.com).
It's not that convenient to configure the models as OpenAI Compatible, can we have an input to specify the endpoint for SiliconFlow?

Hi, @backrunner. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the dify-official-plugins team manage their backlog and am marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You requested a configurable option to switch the SiliconFlow API endpoint to an overseas or global URL.
  • The goal is to improve access speed for deployments outside China.
  • Current setup does not support this flexibility.
  • No further comments or activity have been recorded on this issue.

Next Steps:

  • Please let me know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of dify-official-plugins by commenting here.
  • If I do not hear back within 5 days, this issue will be automatically closed.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
