Dify version

1.1.0

Self Hosted (Source)

Steps to reproduce

A conditional branch, branch 1, branch 2.
Branch 1 goes through a question classifier, and both branch 2 and branch 1 go through LLM node 2.
This will ultimately result in branch 1 not performing streaming output after LLM node 2.

I found a similar open issue related to non-streaming output in Dify workflows. The issue suggests that the problem might be related to the configuration of conditional branching logic. Specifically, if the 'else' branch is not properly configured with a path, it can cause a blockage in streaming output [1].

To ensure proper streaming output, you might want to consider structuring your branches as follows:

  1. Create two separate parallel branches:
    • First branch: Execute 'code1' followed by 'IF-ELSE-1'
    • Second branch: Execute 'code2' followed by 'IF-ELSE-2'
  2. Have both branches converge at a variable aggregator.
  3. Connect the variable aggregator to the LLM block.

This setup allows each branch to independently produce stream responses, preventing the ELSE branch from blocking execution until all nodes are completed [2].
