1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

I am trying to perform a classification to the list sys.file to realize specified operation to the different types of files. However, the list operator node does not support more than one conditions, as the doc extractor support many kinds of extensions. So I am thinking that if this is possible to make the list operator support more than one conditon or just support regex as condition.

2. Additional context or comments

3. Can you help us with this feature?

  • I am interested in contributing to this feature.

ifEsle node add regex match (#8007)

We added this feature, but we revert it due to the security and performance reason, if you have better ideas, you can share it in this thread. :)

I see, but we need this in a list operator node. The IfElse node cannot help us to split the file array without an env variable. The core is to support more than one condition in the list operator node rather than regex like that in the IfElse node now, this will meet my current needs.
