1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

I’d love to see a plugin for the GigaChat model added to Dify. GigaChat has its own API (link here), and it would be great if we could use it like the other supported models.

If someone could add support for it (just like the existing model plugins), that would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!

2. Additional context or comments

Happy to help test if needed.

3. Can you help us with this feature?

  • I am interested in contributing to this feature.

Thanks for the link!

After building the plugin, do I need to publish it somewhere (like the marketplace) for others to use?
Or is there a repo where I should submit additional plugins?
Or is it fine if I just use it locally for myself?

Just want to make sure I follow the right process. Thanks!

Here, you can submit your plugins in this repo if you want to publish it to our marketplace. You only need to submit a packaged plugin, there is no need to submit your source code.

Hi, @shamspias. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the Dify team manage their backlog and am marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You requested adding GigaChat model support as a plugin in Dify and offered to help test and contribute.
  • The maintainer shared plugin development documentation and explained submission options for the marketplace.
  • You confirmed understanding and asked about the publishing process.
  • I provided guidance to help you proceed with plugin development and contribution.
  • The issue was effectively resolved with the information and support given.

Next Steps:

  • Please let me know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of Dify by commenting here.
  • If I don’t hear back within 15 days, this issue will be automatically closed.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
