For example

ast-grep --pattern 'db.session.query($WHATEVER).filter($HERE)' -l py

this can find all .filter

ast-grep --pattern 'db.session.query($WHATEVER).filter($HERE)' --rewrite 'db.session.query($WHAT
EVER).where($HERE)' -l py

this do all the rewrite
