1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

Current Issue:

Dify currently lacks a "Clear All Logs" functionality for conversation management. Users must manually delete conversations one by one, which is time-consuming and inefficient for bulk operations.

Use Cases & Benefits:

  1. Development & Testing: Developers need to quickly clear test conversations during app development cycles
  2. Privacy & Compliance: Organizations require efficient data cleanup to meet privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
  3. Production Maintenance: Administrators need bulk cleanup capabilities for production environments
  4. Storage Management: Reduce storage costs by easily removing unnecessary conversation history

Security & Privacy Concerns:

  1. Data Exposure: All historical conversations remain visible to users, potentially exposing sensitive information
  2. Compliance Risk: Manual deletion is error-prone and doesn't guarantee complete data removal
  3. Access Control: No efficient way to ensure complete conversation data cleanup when user access changes

Proposed Solution:

Add a "Clear All Logs" feature with:

  1. Bulk deletion of all conversations and related data
  2. Confirmation dialog to prevent accidental deletion
  3. Complete cleanup including uploaded files and attachments
  4. Audit logging for compliance tracking

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
