This bug with missing boolean selectors in provider config forms was present in Dify v1.8.0 and affected all boolean config fields, not just Gitlab. It has since been fixed in recent versions. The fix involved updating the UI logic to properly handle boolean fields, ensuring they render as selectors and are sent to the backend as actual boolean values, not strings or numbers. You can see the details and screenshots of the fix in these merged pull requests: #23160 and #23282.

Upgrading to the latest version of Dify will resolve this issue. If you can't upgrade right now, a temporary workaround is to use select fields with 'True/False' values for boolean options, but native boolean support is now available in newer releases.
