Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable feature to enhance web app user experience -> disable “Citations and Attributions”.

  1. Start a chat in this app that hits a knowledge base.
  2. Check the bottom of the assistant answer.

✔️ Expected Behavior

When “Citations and Attributions” is disabled, no citation UI should render.

❌ Actual Behavior

Citation UI still appears, showing document names.
