Description

The weaviate-client dependency is declared twice in pyproject.toml:

  1. Line 89: In the main dependencies list with version ==4.17.0
  2. Line 218: In the vdb dependency group with version >=4.0.0,<5.0.0

Since this is a vector database client, it should only exist in the vdb dependency group according to the project's dependency organization structure.

Motivation

  • Redundant dependency declaration may cause version conflicts
  • Violates the project's dependency organization principle where vector database clients should be in the vdb group
  • Unnecessarily increases the size of the main dependency list
