1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

We have deployed a set of Dify on our internal network. To access the internet from the office intranet, we need to go through an HTTP proxy. Currently, the MCP client of Dify does not support proxy configuration, which prevents us from using the MCP server on the internet with Dify on our internal network.

2. Additional context or comments

I previously submitted another feature request #23452. I also realized that adding a proxy here in MCP might lead to SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery). Therefore, my suggestion is to add a toggle switch that users can enable during deployment if they have proxy requirements.

I will implement this idea and commit my code then.

3. Can you help us with this feature?

  • I am interested in contributing to this feature.
