Description

The variable truncation service still declares JSON collections with bare list and dict annotations, which leaves type intent unknown and triggers static analysis warnings during type checking.

Motivation

Strengthening these annotations keeps the backend aligned with the project's strong typing guidelines and prevents future regressions in type-checking and lint workflows.
