This error in Dify v1.9.2 is a known regression affecting pipeline-based Knowledge Bases: some embedding models (like bge-m3) that work in traditional knowledge bases are not supported in the pipeline version, leading to the "Invalid Embedding Model" error when publishing. This is confirmed by other users and tracked in discussions—see here.

Another common cause is a schema mismatch in your vector database (Weaviate). If you upgraded Weaviate to v4.x, Dify now requires a named vector "default" in your collection schema. If it's missing, you'll get this error. To fix it, recreate your Weaviate collection so it includes the "default" named vector, then re-ingest your data. Details and migration steps are here.

If you suspect configuration corruption, some users have resolved similar issues by reinstalling the embedding model, reselecting it in the knowledge settings, or deleting all Docker volumes and starting from scratch (example).

If you need to use a specific embedding model in the pipeline KB, check which models are supported for pipeline-based knowledge bases in your version, as support differs from traditional KBs.

Please provide the necessary information like lined issue, I don't know which model you are using at this moment.
