This empty placeholder issue after plugin installation is caused by a UI state problem: after installing a plugin from the marketplace (/plugins?category=discover), the UI stays on the "discover" tab, but the installed plugin appears only in the "plugins" tab. If you don't manually switch tabs, or if filters are active, you'll see an empty placeholder even though the plugin installed successfully.

To work around this, after installing a plugin, switch to the "plugins" tab to see your installed plugins. If you still see an empty placeholder, clear any active filters (categories, tags, or search) that might be hiding your new plugin. This behavior is due to how the frontend manages tab and filter state after installation, and recent code changes have focused on improving plugin list refresh and tab synchronization, but this UI flow may still need refinement in your version.

If you want to patch this, look at the logic in the plugin page component that handles tab switching after installation and ensure it sets the active tab to "plugins" when the install modal closes. Also, check that the plugin list refresh is triggered after installation completes.

If you need to debug further, check the browser console for errors and make sure your plugin's manifest and provider code match the latest standards, as schema or runtime errors can also cause blank states in the UI.
