Hi @githubxubin! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the dify team.

This error is a known issue in Dify v0.15.3, especially with self-hosted Docker deployments. The handleUpdateChatList function was removed in later versions, but older UI code still references it, causing the ReferenceError and breaking HTTP requests in chatflows. The backend runs fine, but the frontend can't process chatflow HTTP nodes due to this missing handler.

The maintainers have fixed this in newer releases (v1.3.1 and above). There is no reliable workaround for v0.15.3; you need to upgrade to a newer version or manually cherry-pick the relevant frontend fixes to resolve the issue. See related discussions and maintainer comments for confirmation:

If you can't upgrade immediately, there are no documented temporary fixes. Upgrading is the recommended solution.

To reply, just mention @dosu.
