Environment:

Deploy dify-enterprise-frontend only and not deploy dify-web

✔️ Expected Behavior

Have default username/password to login

❌ Actual Behavior

Don't find any default user/pass

Dify intentionally has no default login credentials. Instead, you need to create the initial admin account through the setup page after deployment.

To create your first admin account:

  1. Navigate to http://your-dify-url/install in your browser
  2. Enter your desired email, name, and password to create the admin account

This is a one-time setup process that creates the first admin user and marks the system as initialized.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • If you see "No identity authentication method configured" at login, access /install to complete setup (#11552)
  • Ensure the INIT_PASSWORD environment variable is not set in your Helm values, as this can cause setup state inconsistencies
  • Make sure your persistent storage volumes have proper write permissions

Let me know if the /install endpoint isn't accessible in your air-gapped environment!

I have setup with your endpoint, but still can't login.

The api response 201 created but the problem is it create account in dify database and not create in enterprise database.

The enterprise UI still pop-up user email not found.
