Summary

  • move version field of api module back to pyproject.toml
  • CURRENT_VERSION config is to be replaced by the [project].version from pyproject.toml
  • uv 0.7 introduces uv version command (https://docs.astral.sh/uv/reference/cli/#uv-version) which is handy to display , bump the version of the project's pyproject.toml file
