State: closed
Merged: Yes

Summary

This commit fixes a critical bug where WorkflowService was creating and passing WorkflowNodeExecution database models directly to the repository's save method, which expects NodeExecution domain entities.

Key changes:

  • Refactor WorkflowService._handle_node_run_result to create proper NodeExecution domain entities
  • Make repository's _to_db_model method public as to_db_model for consistent conversion
  • Fix property access in PluginNodeBackwardsInvocation from *_dict to direct properties
  • Remove redundant get_db_models_by_workflow_run method
  • Update WorkflowRunService to use proper domain model conversion
  • Improve documentation and code clarity

This change ensures proper separation between domain and database layers and fixes potential data inconsistencies in the workflow execution process.
