Description

Add comprehensive unit tests for AuthType module.

Core Functionality Tests

  • Enum properties validation and StrEnum inheritance verification
  • String representation and value mapping correctness
  • Enum iteration and membership operations
  • Type checking and isinstance validation
  • Immutability enforcement

Security-Focused Tests

  • Invalid access protection: Ensures AttributeError is raised for non-existent auth types
  • Type safety enforcement: Validates that only valid AuthType enum values are accepted
  • Immutability testing: Confirms enum values cannot be modified at runtime

Edge Cases

  • Invalid enum value construction (raises ValueError)
  • Case sensitivity in string comparisons
  • Null and non-string type handling
  • Hash collision prevention for use in dictionaries/sets
  • JSON serialization compatibility
  • Integration with ApiKeyAuthFactory for all enum values

The extensive test coverage is intentional given the critical nature of authentication type functionality in the system.
