Summary

  • Expand doc_form null checking from only None to treat empty strings/pure whitespace as invalid.
  • Add try/except blocks before and after calling IndexProcessorFactory(...).clean() to prevent single point failures from blocking subsequent Document/Segment deletion processes.
  • Add db.session.rollback() in the outermost except block to prevent dirty sessions caused by uncommitted transactions when exceptions occur.
