Original Pull Request: https://github.com/langgenius/dify/pull/26413

State: closed
Merged: Yes

Removed "core/tools" from the exclude list in api/pyrightconfig.json to enable type checking for this directory.

Addressed the resulting type errors by:

  • Adding a public run method to DatasetRetrieverBaseTool to be called instead of the protected _run method.
  • Updating DatasetRetrieverTool to call the new run method.
  • Fixing type inference issues in ApiBasedToolSchemaParser by adding explicit type hints and refactoring variable assignments.
