Is this request related to a challenge you are facing?

Yes, I am currently facing a challenge with integrating a specific model, llama3.1-405b-instruct, provided by Ali.

What is the feature you'd like to see?

I would like to see either the addition of a new model provider, ali dashcope, to support many of the models provided by Aliyun, or an enhancement to the tongyi model to support customization. I personally believe the latter option would be more suitable.

How will this feature improve your workflow / experience?

This feature will significantly improve my workflow and user experience by providing access to a wider range of models, especially those that are more suited to my specific needs. This will ultimately lead to better performance of my applications.

Additional Context or Comments

Here is a link to the specific model I am interested in: API Details of Llama LLM

3. Can you help us with this feature?

  • I am interested in contributing to this feature.

You could open a pr for this if you are interested in this model provider. :)

We do support Tongyi. :) It uses dashscope's api to make the api call.
