1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

creating a long term memory in dify is really hard, but we don't need to. we should be able to integrate with mem0 or zep to do this for us. n8n and flowise already do this.

2. Additional context or comments

I asked about this on mem0 discord, and they are willing to help.

3. Can you help us with this feature?

  • I am interested in contributing to this feature.

Hi, @lucaseatp. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the Dify team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You suggested integrating long-term memory solutions like mem0 and zep into Dify.
  • You contacted mem0, who are open to assisting with the integration.
  • @hjlarry suggested trying the dify-plugin-mem0ai repository as a potential solution.

Next Steps:

  • Please let us know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the Dify repository by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, this issue will be automatically closed in 15 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!

@takatost, the user @lucaseatp has indicated that they are still having trouble installing the integration due to the lack of a README. Could you please assist them with this issue?

Hi @Yevanchen , I’ve developed a mem0 plugin as well and encountered an issue here: https://github.com/langgenius/dify-plugin-sdks/issues/18. Have you experienced this issue too?
