This need to re-edit the previous input is extremely common. Even simpler solutions support deleting entries, and many lightweight open-source products include this feature. It’s surprising that Dify lacks it. Have you actually held long-term conversations with AI？ Or does every response it generates perfectly meet your needs, making revisions unnecessary?

The “Archive ”button serves a different purpose from the delete function. Deletion is a fundamental, must-have feature. According to the KANO model, the delete function is a basic need — users would be dissatisfied without it, but its presence doesn't create particular satisfaction.

My suggestion is to use more competitor products and see what you might be lacking in basic conversation interactions compared to ChatGPT and Claude . If you only want expert users to develop products themselves rather than providing an out-of-the-box experience, then I have nothing more to say.
