Dify version

0.13.2

Cloud or Self Hosted

Self Hosted (Docker)

Steps to reproduce

1734492488017
When I use the api to have a conversation that contains sensitive information. The session id can no longer be used

The model I used was qwen-plus

✔️ Expected Behavior

I hope this conversation id has sensitive information that will allow me to continue using it. Dropping this session id will affect my context content

Actual Behavior

/v1/chat-messages

"inputs": {},
"conversation_id": "4c990d67-5abd-4421-820f-44bcb30ebe73",
"query": "亚洲有几个发达国家",

Hello, @ouguofeng! I'm here to help you with any bugs, questions, or contributions you might have. Let's get to the bottom of this together!

The issue you're experiencing seems to be related to the handling of sensitive information within the Dify platform, specifically when using the qwen-plus model. When a session ID is flagged due to sensitive content, it becomes unusable for further interactions. This is likely due to the platform's moderation tools, which are designed to prevent the continuation of conversations that contain inappropriate content.

To address this, you might consider the following approaches:

  1. Review and Adjust Moderation Settings: Check if the moderation settings, such as custom keywords or the use of the OpenAI Moderation API, are too restrictive. Adjusting these settings might help prevent legitimate content from being flagged as sensitive.

  2. Create a New Session: If a session ID is flagged and becomes unusable, you may need to start a new session with a different ID. While this might affect the continuity of the conversation, it ensures compliance with content policies.

  3. Custom Moderation Extensions: Implement custom moderation extensions tailored to your specific needs. This can help in creating more nuanced rules for what constitutes sensitive content, potentially reducing false positives.

Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to reset or continue a conversation with a flagged session ID without starting a new session, as the platform is designed to enforce strict content policies to ensure safety and compliance.

If you turn on the llm memory switch, then it won't be removed until it moves to the start of the memory. In this case, you can not alter the memory in the web UI.
