1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

Hello,

We have not configured email services, which has led to the original accounts becoming unusable. Currently, we have to reset user passwords through the database, a process that is quite cumbersome. Therefore, I would like to request the ability for administrators to reset user passwords directly via admin privileges, without having to go through the database reset process.

Is it possible to implement a feature or use an existing function that allows administrators to reset other users' passwords directly?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards
SingleKey

I thought you could implement something like reset-password in this file.

Hi, @SingleKey. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the Dify team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You requested a feature for admins to reset user passwords directly, bypassing the need for email services.
  • "Crazywoola" suggested a reset-password feature implementation, which you supported.
  • "Warren830" showed interest in working on this feature.

Next Steps:

  • Please confirm if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the Dify repository by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, this issue will be automatically closed in 15 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!
