5b0525d2e2 Drop HAVE_PBO. Use custom conversion routines. 
Measured custom 15->32 conversion to be up to 10x faster on my setup.

d0c4fdbc23 Only build in libpng if it's 1.5+. 
libpng fails to build on 1.2 apparently.
It might build on 1.3 or 1.4, but 1.5+ is known to work.
