A SET_SYSTEM_AV_INFO that changes only the sample rate swaps the resamplers and ratio in place, growing the threaded pipeline's ring under the consumer's park when the new rate needs more room. The driver and device stay open. Configurations the swap cannot carry (time stretch, DSP, callback and inline transports) take the full reinit. retro_spsc_grow() enlarges a quiesced ring, keeping its positions. wdmks_loop runs its modelled cases on a clock that moves only as the model waits; wasapi_exclusive_pacing re-runs a scenario that misses its budget and fails on three misses in a row.
