Codex b29a6fc8dc Remove stale frees after consuming filestream close ...

The VFS close contract consumes the stream even on failure. Remove manual post-close frees in file helpers, Dingux and the CRC fixture so final I/O errors cannot cause double frees.

Report read, compare and write helper close failures; do not close consumed handles again on read cleanup. Failed atomic writes discard the temporary file and preserve the previous destination. Exercise normal/empty reads, native and callback ownership, and successful/failed atomic replacement under sanitizers and Windows.
