LIBRARY COLLAPSES to a 46px strip of type glyphs — 174px back to the board. You lose the titles and keep the ability to switch, which is the point of collapsing rather than hiding, and the same bargain the studio rail makes one level up. Remembered per browser: how much room the library gets is a fact about you, not about the board you have open. DELETE WAS THERE AND INVISIBLE. It said 'Delete' in 8px uppercase, in --faint, inside 58px of reserved padding — present in the DOM and unreadable on screen, which is indistinguishable from absent. That is the whole of 'there is no way to delete, and it is not clear how'. It is a × you can see, bordered on hover so it reads as a button. THE VIEW SURVIVES REOPENING. canvasView reset to a fixed 24,24,0.55 on every open, so panning and zooming were thrown away by switching boards and coming back. Items and marks were always persisted; the VIEW was the thing being lost, and that is what 'it does not save anything' was pointing at. Stored per artifact in localStorage — a viewport is a fact about this person at this screen, and writing it into shared project data would drag one person's zoom into everyone else's board. Validated on read: a half-written entry producing NaN would blank the board, and 'my canvas is empty' is a far worse bug than 'my zoom was forgotten'. PASTE FOLLOWS FOCUS. The listeners were already right — window and the artifact document — but nothing ever focused either, so whether a paste arrived depended on where you last clicked. Click a header button and the event fired in the shell, where nobody listens, and it vanished: the 'works sometimes' report. Touching the surface now returns focus to the board. SPECIFICITY, TWICE IN ONE NIGHT. The collapsed glyphs stayed hidden because is (0,2,2) and a bare .artifact-glyph is (0,2,1). A rule that reads as an exception is not one unless it out-specifies what it is excepting. Measured: 220px -> 46px and back, glyphs visible and rows clickable collapsed; pan, switch board, return — transform identical. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <[email protected]>
