An assistant connected to an OpenRig team over the MCP server now learns from the connection how to work: its inbox is the items addressed to its seat, a wake only points at the inbox, and it claims an item, does it, then closes it with the answer or hands it on. When an item needs a person's approval first, it keeps the item and asks instead of closing it or acting anyway: it blocks the item on the person who sent it, with the question and a short form of what it will do as the summary, or, for an item from a seat or a shared channel, asks a seat as a new item and blocks on that. The item reads blocked while it waits, and the same item continues after the answer. Both paths are the queue's existing behaviour; the guidance was missing, not the mechanism. The guidance is one versioned text, member-workflow/v1, joined into the server's MCP instructions, and docs/reference/hosted-members.md quotes it word for word, with a test keeping the two identical. rig_queue_update's blockedOn and rig_queue_list's owned descriptions say the same. A hosted member with no node or session can call rig_whoami and learn the seat it acts as; before, that call failed. A caller connected through an external grant service asks the team for work rather than being a member, so its instructions keep only the shared lines. No new refusal, prompt or required step. 4 files, +154 -10, of which 98 are test lines.
