conf: Check the availability of PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE

Browse Source 
Check the availability of PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE in configure script
and use it only when possible.  A fairly old version of glibc still
seems working, but just to be sure.
