syzkaller is an unsupervised coverage-guided kernel fuzzer
d257b2d2d8
As of commit 3f053259, gVisor sentry panics are no longer sent to the stderr for "runsc run" by default, as that stderr belongs exclusively to the application. As a result, syzbot never sees the gVisor panic stack trace, and is only reporting errors that occur when waiting for a dead sandbox. Passing the "-debug" flag to runsc will make the sentry panics visible to syzbot again. |

syzkaller - kernel fuzzer
syzkaller
is an unsupervised coverage-guided kernel fuzzer. Linux
kernel fuzzing has the most support, akaros
, freebsd
, fuchsia
, netbsd
, windows
and gvisor
are supported to varying degrees.

Documentation
Initially, syzkaller was developed with Linux kernel fuzzing in mind, but now it's being extended to support other OS kernels as well. Most of the documentation at this moment is related to the Linux kernel. For other OS kernels check: Akaros, FreeBSD, Fuchsia, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Windows, gVisor.
