- create helper function to setup exception frame and run the test - lookup function ptr only once - make "code data" const - reuse global exception counter - change alignment test to use stack address to generate an alignment exception. This avoids the need to pass an argument, so it can use the created helper function. (as the stack is (at least) 4 byte aligned, this works equally well)
