* Actually pr-test fastdbg
* Set embedfile msvc runtime
* Restructure toolchain files so that embedfile is also built accordingly
* Conditional AFXDLL
* Set iterator level globally
* fix some usages of std::transform
* change parse_string_flag_list to use a reference
* add a variant of parse_string_flag_list that can use a SCP_set, and make a templated version of flag_def_list
This refactors the tolower/toupper code to use standards-conformant logic, and also adds some helpful utility functions. Regular tolower/toupper must be supplied a value that can be represented as `unsigned char`, but the std:: functions are a bit more robust.
This just introduces the previously Travis integration and moves it to
GitHub actions.
This also found various issues around our libc++ support so I fixed that
as well.
I have been thinking about some shader related techniques for the Vulkan
renderer and for that we will need to add embedded files in a different
environment than they are right now since the actual shader code will
not be needed in the engine.
For this reason, I extracted the "default file" mechanism to be more
generic so that all that is necessary to include a file is to just call
a custom CMake command and the function keeps track of what needs to be
done.
Also, since the "generic" code has worked pretty well so far I see no
reason to keep around two systems which just increases the amount of
code we need to maintain. So, I just removed the windows exclusive
implementation. Now all platforms use the same "generic" way of
embedding files.
This uses clangs LibTooling for parsing the FSO source files to ASTs
which can then be used for extracing the strings used in XSTR calls.
This supports both standard XSTR calls and UI_XSTR definitions and
writes the resulting information in the strings.tbl format to stdout.
It also detects duplicate translation id usages with different text
values.
