What happened?

Relates to #680

Firefox for Fedora 147.0.3 (64-bit)
Ultramarine Linux (KDE Plasma)

Really this is two small bugs with the status menu.

  1. It appears the UI doesn't refresh to reflect your status when you click a status/presence button
  2. The menu also stays open, giving the impression that no response was received

Steps to reproduce:

  1. open Firefox and nav to the site.

  2. Hit F12 to open developer menu

  3. Click status button then choose any status.

  4. See that the menu remains and the status doesn't change, but

  5. Open the Network tab to see that in fact the server has responded with a 200 and the correct value for Presence

I tried this with uBlock Origin and PrivacyBadger both on and both off.
