The man page does not contain all the chapters from the System Emulation Users Guide, so some of the links that we've put into the qemu options descriptions can not be resolved and thus the link names are used in the man pages instead. These link names currently contain weird "_005f" letters in the middle and just do not make any sense for the users. To avoid this situation, replace the link names with more descriptive, natural text. QEMU Monitor
|
|
------------
|
|
|
|
The QEMU monitor is used to give complex commands to the QEMU emulator.
|
|
You can use it to:
|
|
|
|
- Remove or insert removable media images (such as CD-ROM or
|
|
floppies).
|
|
|
|
- Freeze/unfreeze the Virtual Machine (VM) and save or restore its
|
|
state from a disk file.
|
|
|
|
- Inspect the VM state without an external debugger.
|
|
|
|

Integer expressions

The monitor understands integers expressions for every integer argument.

You can use register names to get the value of specifics CPU registers

|
by prefixing them with *$*.
