66e6c8a7b4 lavu: Add a pixel format for new VDA hwaccel 
The current hwaccel is broken and cannot be fixed in a compatible
way. It will be deprecated and replaced with a new one.

19e30a58fc Deprecate obsolete XvMC hardware decoding support 
XvMC has long ago been superseded by newer acceleration APIs, such as
VDPAU, and few downstreams still support it. Furthermore XvMC is not
implemented within the hwaccel framework, but requires its own specific
code in the MPEG-1/2 decoder, which is a maintenance burden.

d2fcb356ca pixdesc: add functions for accessing pixel format descriptors. 
Make av_pix_fmt_descriptors table static on next major bump.

Making the table public is dangerous, since the caller has no way to
know how large it actually is. It also prevents adding new fields to
AVPixFmtDescriptor without a major bump.

38d5533228 pixdesc: mark pseudopaletted formats with a special flag. 
This makes it possible to dintinguish them from PAL8.

Fixes an invalid write in avpicture_layout().

42239ced65 Add pixel formats for 9- and 10-bit yuv420p. 
Also add support for these formats in libswscale.

Needed for high bit depth h264 decoding.

9525243f59 pixdesc: use 8-bit accesses when possible in av_read/write_image_line() 
This fixes out of bounds accesses for big endian formats and should be
a little faster.

ce1cd1cba2 Rename read/write_line() to av_read/write_image_line(). 
The old names were not av_ prefixed, and they were causing linking
failure on many platforms.  The new names are also more descriptive.

Patch by Stefano Sabatini.
