Enable sound

Whether sound output should be enabled or not.

Interpolation

Defines how audio should be interpolated between samples. This may improve sound quality at the expense of performance.

Bitrate

The bitrate that should be used for sound. Auto is recommended to keep the audio quality as close to the real system as possible.

Volume

Allows you to adjust the volume of the sound.

Audio latency

Defines delay between the audio being generated and actually being played by your device. Lower latencies reduce this delay but may reduce performance.

Microphone source

The source of the DS microphone source. The available options are:

  • None: disables microphone input
  • Blow: simulates a constant blowing noise
  • Device microphone: uses the device microphone to capture sound and directs that sound to the DS. This option requires the Audio Recording permission to be given. If the permission is granted and then revoked, the emulator will default to the Blow option.
