b76eae29e9 Bug 1345356 - Drop FIXME comment about only needing to flush throttled animations; r=heycam DONTBUILD (comment-only) 
This comment in no longer correct since we now have a separate animation
restyle which should update *all* animations. If we fail to update animations
during the animation restyle and update them during the subsequent non-animation
restyle we risk triggering transitions from these animations.

I believe the reordering of the first/last check across the code that
delves into letter frames is an improvement, but a currently undectable
one, since it appears that we don't currently allow ::first-letter
pseudo-elements to break across lines, even in the presence of
multi-character ::first-letters that are broken by
'word-break:break-all'.

Mainly, before this change, there was nothing forcing style structs computed in
a style context to remain computed for the new style context after a call to
CalcStyleDifference. This can make us skip change hints when a style change
doesn't force to recompute one of these structs.

a7bc3e8898 Bug 1340441: Try to make crashtest 1338772-1.html more reliable. (no review, test-only) 
This crashtest removes "reftest-wait" in a resize handler. Right now, that
resize handler isn't always being reliably triggered on TreeHerder. I suspect
this is because we handle the resize before we've ever done layout on the thing
being resized (the contentWindow inside of "inner"). So this patch establishes
an explicit size & explicitly triggers a reflow (via "offsetTop") on
inner.contentWindow, before we perform the resize tweak. This should make the
resize handler be triggered more reliably (100% reliably, I expect).

For a table, the primary frame is the table wrapper anonymous box.  That
anonymous box inherits style from its _child_ table frame, which is the frame that
has the actual style for the element.  So we want to use the stylo-computed
style for the table frame, and then compute an updated style for the table
wrapper too, because some things (like absolute positioning) are done for the
table wrapper anonymous box, not the table frame.

sHideCaretsForMouseInput is default to true on all platforms. When clicking
"SELECT ALL" on Fennec toolbar in <input>, AccessibleCaretManager will
receive SELECTALL_REASON with MOZ_SOURCE_TOUCH.

We should hide the carets only if the select-all reason is fired by
keyboard, not by touch.

4be7d40139 Bug 1302071 - Part 5: Bucket PresContext invalidations by transaction ID, and only deliver them when the associated composite has completed. r=tnikkel 
This patch does a few things:
* Buckets invalidations by transaction ID, and sends MozAfterPaints events for them when the associated composite completes.
* Creates a separate EventualDidPaint timer for each transaction ID we have invalidations for rather than just using one.
* Removes NotifyDidPaintForSubtree(PAINT_LAYERS), as it was only necessary for the existing bucketing mechanism.

b0cf27878d Bug 1333951 - Unbreak dumping of style contexts. r=bzbarsky 
Prior to this patch, dumping of style contexts in the layout
debugger would only dump the subtree associated with the root
frame, which just covers the viewport, canvas, and associated
scrollbars.

I think this has been broken since bug 236921 (2004) and
bug 378693 (2007) properly disconnected the root element from the
styles for the viewport and canvas.

This patch just manually dumps the root frame and the root
element's frame, since the style set no longer maintains a list
of all of the style context roots.

This might delay the resolution of FontFaceSet's ready promise in cases
where we don't delay it now, when we call nsIPresShell::SetNeedRestyle for
something other than posting a restyle.  But from the Font Loading API
spec's point of view, I think this is fine.

b797477463 Bug 1331402 - Update plugins' clipRects when hiding a tab. r=jimm,mattwoodrow 
In non-e10s, all tabs of a window would share one nsRootPresContext. When
switching tabs, the tab switch paint would trigger a call to
nsRootPresContext::ComputePluginGeometryUpdates, which would call
SetEmptyWidgetConfiguration on all registered nsPluginFrames, notably also
those inside the tab that was hidden.

With e10s, every tab has its own nsRootPresContext, and paints in one tab do
not trigger calls to nsRootPresContext::ComputePluginGeometryUpdates on the
root pres contexts of other tabs. So when painting the new tab, the registered
plugin frames in the old tab were not notified that they were now hidden.
This patch now does that in TabChild::MakeHidden.

f338c9e47d Bug 1317209 - Part 5: Trigger composeStyle if there is an animation. r=heycam 
1. Add one new FFI, Gecko_GetAnimationRule, which will try
   to update the animation rule and retrieve a ServoAnimationRule
   from EffectSet.
2. Add GetServoAnimationRule, which calls Animation::ComposeStyle and updates
   mElementsToRestyle.
3. There is no eRestyle_{CSSAnimations|CSSTransitions}, so we use
   eRestyle_Self and eRestyle_Subtree for stylo.
