5b6ae6e571 Rename {nsIDocument,nsIDocumentObserver,nsIFrame}::ContentChanged to CharacterDataChanged, since that's the only thing it's used for. Replace its nsISupports* parameter with a PRBool, since we don't need to allocate an object to pass a boolean parameter. 5ba9439c07 Correcting our background painting code per the latest CSS specs. By default, backgrounds should be painted to the border 
area, and not the padding area as per the CSS 2 Errata, CSS2.1 and CSS3.  Also, implementing the CSS3 'background-clip'
and 'background-origin' properties (currently with -moz- prefixes) to control this behavior.

c0ec608df6 Add 'make install' target to build. It's "MRE-friendly". (See http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/MRE.html for details.) 
Changes:
* Added EXTRA_COMPONENTS variable to build.  Use it to automagically install files into the components dir.
* Added SYSINSTALL variable.  Use it install files onto the system.
* Move mozilla-config generation from configure to makefiles
* mozilla-config will now generate paths based upon the MRE-based directory layout.
* Generate mozilla script from template

The installation heirarchy currently looks like:
$prefix -> /bin/mozilla
           /bin/mozilla-config
           /include/mozilla-ver/*
           /lib/mozilla-ver  (mozappdir)
                            /components
                            /res
                            /defaults
                            /chrome

There is preliminary build support for MRE dirs as well though the component manager hasn't had MRE support added yet.

$prefix -> /lib/mre/mre-ver  (mredir)

2fe76cd2ac Reduce the performance cost of (threadsafely) refcounting many atoms by creating a second implementation of nsIAtom (derived from the first) that does not refcount and gets destroyed at XPCOM shutdown. bf5fb48486 Replaced NO_SHARED_LIB & NO_STATIC_LIB with BUILD_SHARED_LIBS, BUILD_STATIC_LIBS, FORCE_STATIC_LIB & FORCE_SHARED_LIB. Added FORCE_USE_PIC.
