5b6ae6e571 Rename {nsIDocument,nsIDocumentObserver,nsIFrame}::ContentChanged to CharacterDataChanged, since that's the only thing it's used for. Replace its nsISupports* parameter with a PRBool, since we don't need to allocate an object to pass a boolean parameter. 2bddef83ba Improve the way in which nsEvent and its subclasses are initialized. Commonly-used members can now be initialized via an inline constructor, and all other members are initialized to zero. eventStructType is set automatically. This also fixes some cases where an eventStructType was doubling as a message -- NS_TEXT_EVENT is now only used as an eventStructType, with a message of NS_TEXT_TEXT. NS_COMPOSITION_* events get an eventStructType of NS_COMPOSITION_EVENT, and ditto for NS_RECONVERSION_*. NS_DRAGDROP_EVENT is no longer an eventStructType since it is not a unique type of struct. e65d2d2fe5 Eliminate nsIStyleSet as an XPCOM interface, making the implementation internal to layout. Frame constructor ownership moves to the pres shell, and the style set methods that forward to the frame constructor are gone. Rewrote style set sheet add/remove to reduce code size. fe7914e2c9 Make CSSStyleRuleImpl immutable by changing mutation code (including some merging of code between nsDOMCSSAttributeDeclaration and DOMCSSDeclarationImpl) so that it creates a new rule for the modified declaration. Change StyleRuleChanged notification signatures, and change pres shell's handling of style rule change, addition, and removal to just do reresolution. Remove fine-grained ways of clearing style data. 8dc3ad3076 Fixes for a number of focus problems: 
Bug 201996 (caret blinking in field, but can't type)
Bug 200735 (window is raised when opening link in a new tab)
Bug 203117 (unable to scroll view source window with keyboard)
Bug 194104 (focus is in last tab when opening new window with tabgroup)

Summary of the changes:
- Don't require a frame to be present for focus events.  This allows events like activate and deactivate to correctly update the focus controller even if the document hasn't been reflowed.
- General cleanup and adding of comments in nsEventStateManager::PreHandleEvent.  We now also reuse the event struct when firing focus/blur events to the content, document, and window.
- In nsHTMLElement::SetFocus() and Select(), make sure to set the focused window as well as the focused element, if the focus controller is inactive.
- Fixed handling of certain conditions in PresShell::CheckForFocus() where the results would be different depending on whether the parent or child document unsuppressed painting first.
- General cleanup in PresShell::HandleEvent() and HandleEventInternal().

fe53f95e60 Make the CSSLoader correctly order stylesheets as they are dynamically added 
and removed via the DOM.  Clean up the nsIDocument stylesheet accessors.  Clean
up nsIDocumentObserver stylesheet stuff a bit.  Make style sheets visible in
the CSSOM (though not completely accessible) from the moment the load is kicked
off.  Make us have sheet objects that can be manipulated via CSSOM even for

Browser based listeners can now registers themselves using the AddGroupedEventListener and passing the system event group (which can be gotten via the nsIDOMEventReceiver interface).  These listeners will now fire after all content based listeners have processed.
In this initial version of the checkin most browser listeners are still left in the original content group for stability purposes.

d2229cbf68 - Implement the :checked CSS pseudoclass which maps to the "selected" property on option elements. 
- Eliminate the _moz-option-selected attribute; move the actual selected state into the option content node.
- Change all users of _moz-option-selected to use :checked.
- Add a third parameter to nsIDocument[Observer]::ContentStatesChanged to indicate which pseudoclass changed, this is used for optimizing handling of :checked state changes.

d38cee3cd4 Fix for bug 83650 (textarea control has problems with caret positioning at end) 
and bug 97207 (textarea pastes sometimes misplaced by failing to reposition).

  - Added new utility method GetOriginToViewOffset().

  - Modified nsPresShell::HandleEvent(), nsBoxFrame::GetFrameForPoint(),
    and nsContainerFrame::GetFrameForPointUsing() to factor in the
    offset from GetOriginToViewOffset() to insure that the point
    used is always transformed into the correct coordinate system.

c3d6b55ca5 Remove nsDST and convert its users (PresShell::mSubShellMap, FrameManager::mPrimaryFrameMap, and FrameManager::PropertyList::mFrameValueMap) to PLDHash. Also convert FrameManager::mPlaceholderMap to PLDHash. Give image map area structures a pointer back to their image frame rather than (mis)using the primary frame map. Change API for changing placeholder map to reflect hash entry that accesses key through value by passing only the value and not the key.
