This patch allow nsXULPrototypeElement to set mIsAtom when the namespace is in XHTML.

The value is needed by XULDocument::CreateElementFromPrototype() so we could properly
pass it to NS_NewHTMLElement().

b968ceb813 Bug 1286798 - Part 18: Verify that data is persisted on disk; r=asuth, mrbkap
New methods open() and close() are added to the Storage WebIDL interface. They are only available when a pref is set and are only intended for testing. There's also a new method resetStoragesForPrincipal() which is used as a callback for close() since datastores don't release directory locks immediately. resetStoragesForPrincipal() requests an exclusive lock for given origin, so it must wait for any exising shared locks to be released.

be167c5e0b Bug 1286798 - Part 10: Support for storage events; r=asuth,janv
Storage events are fired either directly after getting response from synchronous SetItem call or through observers. When a new onstorage event listener is added, we sycnhronously register an observer in the parent process. There's always only one observer actor per content process.
PBackgroundLSDatabase is now managed by a new PBackgroundLSObject protocol. PBackgroundLSObject is needed to eliminate the need to pass the principal info and document URI everytime a write operation occurs.
Preparation of an observer shares some states with preparation of a datastore, so common stuff now lives in LSRequestBase and preparation of a datastore now implements a nested state machine.

This patch was enhanced by asuth to drop observers only when the last storage listener is removed.
EventListenerRemoved is invoked on any removal, not just the final removal, so we need to make sure it's the final removal before dropping observer.

60831f2e38 Bug 1286798 - Part 3: New basic (memory only) implementation of LocalStorage; r=asuth,mccr8
The implementation is based on a cache (datastore) living in the parent process and sync IPC calls initiated from content processes.
IPC communication is done using per principal/origin database actors which connect to the datastore.
The synchronous blocking of the main thread is done by creating a nested event target and spinning the event loop.

d9b4527a64 Bug 1391756 - Try to fix rare timeout in dom/tests/mochitest/fetch/test_readableStreams.html. r=baku
Also removes an infinite regress of nested iframes. The original problem was
that tests would start running before the child iframe was done loading. The
straightforward fix is to have the child frame start the test. But this caused
further error messages because the child iframe is loaded more than once;
removing the iframe from the iframe fixes this.

9e968bb929 Bug 1506787: Support tabindex attribute (including value -1) on non-control XUL elements. r=smaug
Previously, the tabindex attribute wasn't supported on non-control XUL elements at all.
The only way to make those focusable was to use -moz-user-focus: normal.
However, that caused the element to be included in the tab order; there was no way to make it focusable but not tabbable.
This can now be achieved using tabindex="-1".
This will primarily be useful for buttons on toolbars, which will be grouped under a single tab stop for efficiency.

For consistency, this also changes the behaviour of tabindex="-1" with -moz-user-focus: ignore on XUL controls.
Previously, -moz-user-focus: ignore would override tabindex="-1", making the element unfocusable.
Now, the tabindex attribute always overrides if explicitly specified.

5c47cf2ccf Bug 1461708 - part 8: Make EventStateManager handle middle click paste as a default action of mouseup event r=smaug
This patch makes EventStateManager handle middle click paste as a default
action.

Unfortunately, we cannot remove the call of HandleMiddleClickPaste() in
EditorEventListener because it's important to consume middle click event
before any elements in the editor. For example, if clicked HTMLEditor has
non-editable <a href> element, middle click event needs to be handled by the
editor rather than contentAreaUtils which handles click events of <a href>
elements. The cause of this kind of issues is, any click event handlers
which handle non-primary button events still listen to "click" events.
Therefore, this patch makes HandleMiddleClickPaste() do nothing if the mouseup
event is fired on an editor.

9b40433ef6 Bug 1461708 - part 7: Make EventStateManager::HandleMiddleClickPaste() dispatch ePaste event by itself r=smaug
This is preparation of the last patch. Even if no editor is clicked with
middle button, we need to do:
- collapse Selection at the clicked point.
- dispatch "paste" event.

Therefore, HandleMiddleClickPaste() should dispatch ePaste event by itself
and each editor methods should have a bool argument which the caller wants
ePaste event automatically.

Note that Chromium dispatches "paste" event and pastes clipboard content
into clicked editor even if preceding "auxclick" event is consumed.
However, our traditional behavior is not dispatching "paste" event nor
pasting clipboard content. Unless Chromium developer keeps their odd
behavior, we should keep our traditional behavior since our behavior is
conforming to DOM event model.

d1f1022588 Bug 1336712 - dom: Remove performance.now() test checks for Windows XP. r=bzbarsky
Firefox no longer supports Windows XP, so these test checks that allow for timeouts with 25 ms resolution can be removed. Also, rewrite some test logic and comments to make the test's intention clearer.

The 'getOSCPU' message handler can be removed from test_worker_performance_now.html because test_worker_performance_now.js no longer needs to check for Windows XP.

Stop setting the pref "privacy.reduceTimerPrecision" = false in test_performance_now.html. That pref removes performance.now()'s 1 ms resolution limit so the performance timer will run at full speed. By leaving the pref's default value, the test can assert that performance.now() is actually honoring the 1 ms limit.

I didn't remove "privacy.reduceTimerPrecision" = false for the worker test. The worker tests run an accelerated setTimeout() clock, so setTimeout(1) can time out in less than 1 ms. Leaving the pref "privacy.reduceTimerPrecision" = true causes hundreds of worker tests to run more slowly (in real time), which would increase test automation time.

13643f64e8 Bug 1488321 - Fix up nsISHEntry.{index,getEntryAtIndex()}. r=nika
nsISHEntry.index is readonly, but if you pass `true` as getEntryAtIndex()'s
second argument, nsISHEntry.index will be modified. This is pretty gross.

This patch changes `index` so it's not readonly (because it's not!) and removes
getEntryAtIndex()'s second argument.

1abdde54ea Bug 1480702: Rewrite test to avoid relying on unspecified/erroneous behavior r=asuth
After analyzing test_request.html it became clear that it relied on two false
assumptions:
1. It assumed that a service worker is notified that it's being installed before
any client can interact with it.
2. It assumed that a service worker will always be installed upon registration,
   if it was unregistered before.
The first assumption is not backed by the spec; it seems that the opposite behavior
is the correct one (https://github.com/w3c/ServiceWorker/issues/1347). The second
assumption ignores the possibility of resurrection, where a service worker is re-
registered before getting uninstalled.

This commit addresses both problems by not relying on the installation phase,
instead passing the script URL as a search parameter and loading it at service
worker script evaluation time. It then runs the test function in response to a
message from the client.

7d9fd70298 Bug 1455078: Implement [SecureContext] for ServiceWorkerContainer r=asuth
The spec mandates that ServiceWorkerContainer only be visible in a secure context,
yet currently it is (almost) always visible, but rejects calls to register() in
non-secure contexts. This commit moves the context check to a [Func] function, thus
implementing the behavior exactly as specified.

This commit uses the same mechanism used by [SecureContext] bindings instead of the
current ad hoc implementation.

1e88f0f003 Bug 1369941: Replace single integers N in fuzzy() and fuzzy-if() with 0-N ranges. r=dholbert
This patch was written entirely by the following script:

  #!/bin/bash

  if [ ! -d "./.hg" ]
  then
echo "Not in a source tree." 1>&2
    exit 1
  fi

find . -regex '.*\(ref\|crash\)test.*\.list' | while read FILENAME
  do
    echo "Processing ${FILENAME}."
    # The following has four substitutions:
    # * The first one replaces the *first* argument to fuzzy() when it doesn't
    # have a - in it, by replacing it with an explicit 0-N range.
    # * The second one does the same for the *second* argument to fuzzy().
    # * The third does the same for the *second* argument to fuzzy-if().
    # * The fourth does the same for the *third* argument to fuzzy-if().
    #
    # Note that this is using perl rather than sed because perl doesn't
    # support non-greedy matching, which is needed for the first argument to
    # fuzzy-if.

25c94b46d8 Bug 1481021: Part 1 - Fix tests that rely on permissive COWs or SpecialPowers side-effects in frame script scopes. r=bz
Right now, a lot of test code relies on side-effects of SpecialPowers being
loaded into frame script globals. In particular:

- It forces permissive COWs from those scopes, which allows frame scripts to
pass objects from those scopes to unprivileged content that they otherwise
  wouldn't.
- It imports a bunch of helper modules and WebIDL globals which would
  otherwise not be available.

Fortunately, this seems to only impact test code at this point. But there's a
real down-the-road risk of it impacting shipping code, which ends up working
in automation due to the side-effects of SpecialPowers, but failing in real
world use.

0538cd57e2 Bug 1472668 - Don't reset performance counters when reading their values - r=baku
We're changing the counters behavior since they are not notifications anymore.
In the new behavior they don't get reset when they are retrieved,
so we can have several consumers via the promise.

If the values overflow, we let the wrapping occur (unsigned values).

abf54817b9 Bug 1428246 - The attributeChangedCallback is fired twice for the *first* style attribute change, r=peterv
The idea with this patch is that style code will first call
InlineStyleDeclarationWillChange before style declaration has changed, and SetInlineStyleDeclaration once it has changed.

In order to be able to report old attribute value, InlineStyleDeclarationWillChange reads the value and also calls AttributeWillChange (so that DOMMutationObserser can grab the old value). Later SetInlineStyleDeclaration passes the old value to
SetAttrAndNotify so that mutation events and attributeChanged callbacks are handled correctly.

Because of performance, declaration can't be cloned for reading the old value. And that is why the recently-added callback is used to detect when declaration is about to change (bug 1466963 and followup bug 1468665).

To keep the expected existing behavior, even if declaration isn't changed, but just a new declaration was created (since there wasn't any), we need to still run all these
willchange/set calls. That is when the code has 'if (created)' checks.

Since there are several declaration implementation and only nsDOMCSSAttributeDeclaration needs the about-to-change callback, GetPropertyChangeClosure is the one to initialize the callback closure, and the struct which is then passes as data to the closure.

Apparently we lost mutation event testing on style attribute when the pref was added, so test_style_attr_listener.html is modified to test both pref values.

2ad736aa2e Bug 1447931 - NetworkActivity becomes IOActivity - r=baku,mak,valentin
Generalizes NetworkActivity so it can be used for sockets but also disk files.
The host/port data becomes a single location string prefixed with socket://
or file:// and we're not using the FD as the identifier anymore.

IOActivityMonitor is now used in three places:

- nsFileStreams for plain files
- TelemetryVFS for sqlite files
- nsSocketTransport & nsUDPSocket for UDP & TCP sockets
