70883a0724 Bug 611798 - Do not pretent that we need the presshell to exist in order to turn off update view batching when the editor operations finish, because we don't; r=bzbarsky a=blocking-final+ 
This patch should fix all of the possible cases where a browser window stops painting when the presshell dies in the middle of an editor operation.

ff44c3c9e3 Bug 534425. Part 6: Let nsIWidgets expose a LayerManager to be used to render into the widget, instead of nsPaintEvent::renderingContext which is removed since it's no longer needed. Currently all widgets fall back to a default BasicLayerManager implementation. Also change nsPaintEvent::region to be an nsIntRegion, and get rid of nsPaintEvent::rect since it's redundant. 2010-03-01 21:03:49 +13:00

6b06693b5b Bug 498340. Block script execution during the entire paint phase including when we call WillPaint to flush notifications. We don't want script to run and disturb (directly or indirectly) the widget hierarchy, because doing that during BeginPaint/EndPaint can confuse Windows.
