Description

I created a custom skill and followed all the instructions in the docs.

I placed the folder with all the artifacts under ... /anythingllm-desktop/storage/plugins/agent-skills/<skill-folder-here>

When I navigate to Settings > Agent Skills > Custom Skills - I see my tool here and I can activate and deactivate.

However, when I start a chat and try to invoke the agent with @agent - I only see the default skills and it says "Custom agents are coming soon!"

I am on Mac M1 and the Anything version is v1.8.1-r2.

The documents indicate that "Custom agent skills are available in AnythingLLM Desktop version 1.6.5 and later."

Are custom agents supported or am I doing anything wrong?

@uninstallit commented on GitHub (May 29, 2025):

My fault - the name in json must match the folder name. The prompt in the chat confused me a bit too.
