What is in this change?

When we encounter a filetype not explicitly known by the mime detector we do a limited peek into the first kb of the file. If the file is all control symbols or binary looking content, we assume it is not text. Otherwise we assume text.

Additional Information

This will enable people to upload the millions of text type files are are parseable as text easily, but without an infinite list of growing known text filetypes in our MimeType class.

Developer Validations

  • I ran yarn lint from the root of the repo & committed changes
  • Relevant documentation has been updated
  • I have tested my code functionality
  • Docker build succeeds locally
