833a7cd504 Move some code from Verifier into SVI::isValidOperands. This allows us to catch bad shufflevector operations when they are created, rather than waiting for someone to notice later on.

f2465b8757 remove the private hack from CallInst, it was not supposed to hit the branch anyway
as a positive consequence the CallSite::getCallee() methods now can be rewritten to be
a bit more efficient

939744be5f Define a maximum supported alignment value for load, store, and
alloca instructions (constrained by their internal encoding),
and add error checking for it. Fix an instcombine bug which
generated huge alignment values (null is infinitely aligned).
This fixes undefined behavior noticed by John Regehr.

3c768ce3f0 encode operand initializations (at fixed index)
in terms of Op<> and ArgOffset. This works for
values of {0, 1} for ArgOffset.
Please note that ArgOffset will become 0 soon and
will go away eventually.

b8016872b6 Remove the API compatibility layer which converted add, sub, and mul
to fadd, fsub, and fmul, when used with a floating-point type. LLVM
has supported the new instructions since 2.6, so it's time to get
on board.

e78496e5f1 Revert 101465, it broke internal OpenGL testing.
Probably the best way to know that all getOperand() calls have been handled
is to replace that API instead of updating.

e7d6812008 reapply r101434
with a fix for self-hosting

rotate CallInst operands, i.e. move callee to the back
of the operand array

the motivation for this patch are laid out in my mail to llvm-commits:
more efficient access to operands and callee, faster callgraph-construction,
smaller compiler binary

0ed92c6e98 Introduce ImmutableCallSite, useful for contexts where no mutation

which is highly customizable. Base CallSite on it too, in a configuration
that allows full mutation.

624a31f2eb Finally land the InvokeInst operand reordering.
I have audited all getOperandNo calls now, fixing
hidden assumptions. CallSite related uglyness will
be eliminated successively.

Note this patch has a long and griveous history,
for all the back-and-forths have a look at
CallSite.h's log.

a9eb6a6987 add some accessors to callsite/callinst/invokeinst to check
for the noinline attribute, and make the inliner refuse to
inline a call site when the call site is marked noinline even
if the callee isn't. This fixes PR6682.

953702b8e6 Recommit r80858 again (which has been backed out in r80871).
This time I did a self-hosted bootstrap on Linux x86-64,
with no problems. Let's see how darwin 64-bit self-hosting
goes. At the first sign of failure I'll back this out.

Maybe the valgrind bots give me a hint of what may be wrong
(it at all).

2c82be93e6 add a layer of accessors around the Value::SubClassData member, and use
a convention (shadowing the setter with private forwarding function) to
prevent subclasses from accidentally using it.

This exposed some bogosity in ConstantExprs, which was propaging the
opcode of the constant expr into the NUW/NSW/Exact field in the
getWithOperands/getWithOperandReplaced methods.
